Gemini Withdrawal Fees: Every Line of the 2026 Schedule

Gemini withdrawal fees per its January 20, 2026 schedule: ACH free, USD wire $25, crypto at a dynamic network fee, $125 from Custody to Exchange.

Gemini withdrawal fees, per its Transfer Fee Schedule dated January 20, 2026: ACH withdrawals are free, a USD wire costs $25, and non-USD, non-SGD bank transfers such as SEPA and FPS are free. Crypto withdrawals pay a dynamic network fee shown before you confirm, and moving crypto from Gemini Custody to the exchange costs $125.

This desk read Gemini’s Transfer Fee Schedule on 23 September 2026, and it is the operator’s own statement of these charges. Below, the schedule line by line, then set against the guides that rank for this query. The trading half of the cost sits on a different schedule, covered in our ActiveTrader fee schedule review and in Gemini app vs ActiveTrader fees.

The deposit side, for completeness: ACH and wire deposits are free, debit card purchases cost 3.49% of the total, PayPal deposits cost 2.50%, and crypto deposits cost nothing. The page does not print settlement times for any line.

How does the dynamic crypto withdrawal fee work?

The schedule prints no per-coin number. It says a withdrawal to an external wallet pays a dynamic fee intended to cover the network fee, set by the then-current network or gas fee for that asset and displayed before the withdrawal is initiated. It states that Gemini does not pocket the fee. ERC-20 token withdrawals pay gas in the token being withdrawn, and Gemini covers the conversion to ETH.

So any fixed figure for a bitcoin withdrawal is a snapshot at best. Cryptowisser’s Gemini page, as read on 23 September 2026, says Gemini charges 0.001 BTC to withdraw BTC, against what it calls an industry average of 0.000812 BTC. The schedule describes no flat BTC fee, so that is one page’s figure, not a Gemini rate.

What is the $125 Gemini Custody withdrawal fee?

Moving crypto from Gemini Custody to Gemini Exchange costs $125 per withdrawal; the reverse direction is free. Charged per withdrawal, it favours fewer, larger transfers.

When can Gemini change these fees?

Changes to fiat transfer fees or crypto deposit fees are posted at least three calendar days before they take effect, and no change stays in effect for less than 30 days. Dynamic crypto withdrawal fees are carved out. The clause’s sentence on them is a tangle of double negatives, but it ends plainly: those fees “change often and are effective immediately”. A fiat line moves with notice; the crypto fee is whatever the withdrawal screen shows that day.

What do the ranking guides print for the same lines?

As read by this desk on 23 September 2026:

DirectionsMag and the schedule agree on the wire and on crypto being charged at network cost. They part on PayPal: the schedule lists a 2.50% PayPal deposit without naming a currency or market, so the two pages cannot be reconciled from their text alone.

Does the schedule still apply in the UK and EU?

The schedule still lists CHAPS, FPS, SEPA and the UK and EU USD line. CoinDesk’s report of 5 February 2026 is headlined that Gemini would exit the UK, EU and Australia. Cryptowisser quotes a Gemini email saying EEA accounts would go withdrawal-only from 5 March 2026 and EEA operations would cease on 6 April 2026. Gemini’s own help article on the exit refused this run’s fetch, so nothing here states the current status of any UK or EU account.

Gemini withdrawal fees: frequently asked questions

Does Gemini charge a fee to withdraw?

It depends on the rail. Per Gemini’s Transfer Fee Schedule dated January 20, 2026, ACH withdrawals and non-USD, non-SGD bank transfers such as SEPA and FPS are free, a USD wire costs $25, and the Singapore dollar lines cost 3 SGD or 25 SGD. Crypto withdrawals carry a dynamic network fee shown before you confirm.

How much does Gemini charge to withdraw to a bank account?

Nothing by ACH, and $25 by USD wire, which the schedule calls the same day option. Non-USD and non-SGD bank transfers, including CHAPS, FPS, SEPA and BLINC, are listed as free. Singapore dollar withdrawals cost 3 SGD by fast transfer or 25 SGD by wire. Gemini adds that your bank may charge separately to receive a wire.

Is it free to withdraw crypto from Gemini?

No. Crypto deposits are free, but withdrawals to an external wallet pay a dynamic fee meant to cover the blockchain’s network fee. Gemini says it does not pocket the fee and shows it before you initiate the withdrawal. ERC-20 tokens pay gas in the token itself. Moving coins from Gemini Custody to the exchange is a separate flat $125.

How much is Gemini’s wire transfer fee?

Sending a wire into Gemini is free on its schedule, though your own bank may charge to send it. Withdrawing by USD wire costs $25. For UK and EU institutions, the schedule’s footnote says the USD wire is free for a limited time, and a Singapore dollar wire costs 25 SGD.

This schedule says its crypto line changes without notice. Check the figure on the withdrawal screen before you confirm, read the schedule’s current date against the one above, and weigh your own circumstances; nothing here is advice on where to hold or move crypto assets, which remain high risk.
